My fathers day present from the kids was they reserved a cabin up at June lake for the 4th of july weekend. Lots of firsts on this trip what a great time!
First stop Schats Bakery in Bishop for breakfast.
We where going to hike down to Rainbow falls to show the kids their fist waterfall. But that didn’t work out so we took a ride to the top of Mammoth and hiked around a bit.
Because of the sad winter we had with no fresh snow to show them this was the first time they got to see snow. Old dirty snow but it was still snow.
The thin air made Karl a bit sleepy. But not Fiona.
Then we drove over to June Lake and showed the kids around the Double eagle.
They thoroughly investigated every inch of the cabin.
On Saturday we drove up to Tenaya lake to met up with Andy and his family and hung out at the lake for the day.
Marivic took a lot of these great photos.
Jefferson took the kids out on the lake for a spin in his raft.
Then it was time to go home. Fiona made sure we didn’t leave any thing in the drawers.
Ready for a long drive home.
